Topology Optimization

Topology optimization helps to develop an optimal form of a part in respect to its strength and material capacity. Different to traditional part development approach, this method allows automatically create an optimal part basing on data on the part loads, restrains and its future type of manufacturing.

Different algorithms allows use this method for different types of optimization, e.g.

  • Full 3D form creation of new parts,
  • Finding of an optimal bead layout for sheet metal parts to improve bending stiffness
  • Shape optimization, which allows get a significant stress reduction through slight adjustment of the geometric part parameters.

Our know-how and experience in optimization are based on our cooperation with German firm FE Design, who's optimization software Tosca is presented and distributed in Russia through our firm.
